Below is a selection of the saddles we make.  Every saddle is handmade using the finest quality English leather.

Dressage Saddles

The Bamburgh Dressage Saddle

This close contact saddle has a deep soft supported seat with a forgiving block that positions the leg comfortably for all riders.  The panel is closer contact felt with a flock layer to enable custom panel adjustment.  The ghost stitch allows the knee pad to settle to the riders leg and mould around the knee roll.  It also comes with adjustable girth selections allowing custom girth positions.  With an extremely soft feel and rideability of the flap leather, it gives extra durability with a guard strip to prevent wear.  The Bamburgh comes in both dual and mono flap design with Cobalt Blue patent accents as standard.  Other options for welt and facings can be offered.

The Bentley Dressage Saddle

The Bentley features a redesigned ergonomic knee block, deep seat, and Simatree. The Simatree is a laterally flexible tree that provides the next generation in saddle comfort for both the horse and rider, assuring a happy and pain free riding experience
A saddle developed to be completely adjustable. Build on a Bio-Kinetic Tree with Simatree technology. Features include adjustable gullets, front and rear gussets, wool flocked, and adjustable girthing. May be ordered custom to both horse and rider. Available in both dual flap and mono flap.

The Berkeley Dressage Saddle

A medium-deep seated saddle with a 4” blocked knee roll that is designed to support the rider in the correct position and allow for movement with the horse, but not inhibit aiding through your seat aids as can happen with deeper seated saddles.

Built on a Bio-Kinetic Tree with Simatree technology making this saddle completely adjustable.   It features an adjustable gullet, front and rear gussets, wool flocked, adjustable girthing and is available custom to both horse and rider, with covered balance strap and option of point strap placement.  Available in both dual and mono flap design.

The Portchester Pony Mono Dressage Saddle

This saddle is a true dressage saddle designed by our team and built individually to focus on the adult rider who competes ponies and small horses.  Changes in longitudinal and lateral balance combined with a smaller aesthetic makes this saddle perfect for the petite adult riding a competitive event pony.

The Warwick Jump Saddle

The Warwick is probably our most close contact Jump saddle.  Made on a Concept Tree ideal for Hunter/Jumper Riders.  It is made with a long point and the combination of flock and top quality felt is shock absorbing and soft while providing ultimate adjustability for the fitter.  Rider comfort comes from the narrower twist and laminated soft leather that gives grip and moulds to shape.  The ghost stitching is stylish and provides rider support.  It comes with more than one girthing option, full stability in the saddle fit and both sets of blocks are on Velcro so they can be fully adjustable  The saddle has a thin gusseted panel which is also flockable.

The Berwick Jump

The Berwick is a forward cut saddle with a slightly deeper seat and knee blocks to balance the rider and establish the correct position over fences. Thigh blocks come standard on Velcro. Ideal for Eventing, Show Jumping, or Fox Hunting. Features a four point adjustable girthing system

The Alnwick Mono Jump Saddle

This Jump Saddle is designed for riding with a short stirrup across country or over larger fences.  The Mono Flap design gives a close contact feel and shorter girth and means the buckles are away from the riders legs.  This saddle is wool flocked with standard or point girthing in the front and self centring back strap. Built on the same Bio-Kinetic Tree with Simatree technology allowing the saddle to be completely adjustable in both balance for the rider and fit for the horse.  Also available in a dual flap design

The Portland Pony Mono Jump Saddle

This saddle is designed on a similar line to the Portchester Pony Mono Dressage saddle, applying the same design techniques allowing a small adult to be competitive on a pony eventing, without compromising rider position or balance point.

The Petworth and Petworth Plus Saddles are completely adjustable with interchangeable gullets, surface knee block and extra cantle D's, this saddle is designed with long distance riding in mind!

The Highland Cob Dressage Saddle

An adjustable saddle with an NC tree.  The dressage comes with an "S" bar and a round cantle.  It is still built of the same Simatree technology but geared towards the rounder, cob, more barrel shaped horse.  The saddle design has a thinner flocked panel that still offers support and features adjustable girthing to aid in stabilising and is built on a short tree point to allow freedom of shoulder movement.  The medium deep seat is paired with a cob panel so the rider has a closer feel in their ride.   Each saddle comes with velcro blocks with a ghost line in pads and standard straps.  The saddles also have billets on the points with keeper straps at the bottom of the flaps for the point strap to slide into.

Available to be ordered custom for both horse and rider.

The Highland Cob Jump Saddle

This jump saddle is designed to give the rider stability over fences on cob type horses.  The saddle has a thinner flocked panel that still offers support.  It features adjustable girthing to aid in stabilising and is built on a short tree point to allow freedom of shoulder movement.  The generous knee roll and flap allow riders to ride short and go XC while maintaining feel.

The Yarmouth Young Riders Saddle

The Yarmouth Young Rider Saddle

Designed especially for Youth and small adults, this saddle offers a unique balance aligned with the smaller vertebrae of the pony back.

A short point gives the stability needed for the rounder shape of the rib cage and point and balance girthing secures the saddle.

The tree is adjustable and flexible through the rail, with a luxurious soft seat and knee pads that equal any French design.  It has specially designed panel to contour to the pony shape.

Available in 15" 15.5" 16" and 16.5" with smaller depth panel and front gusset for Youth or Adult.

 

 

 

All Saddles are available in either Black or Brown leather.  The Bamburgh and Warwick are calf covered.  The Bentley, Berwick, Alnwick, Berkeley are usually Memel with Calf seat and pads.  The Highland Series, Petworth GP and The Yarmouth Young Rider saddles are plain solid leather.
